A Case for a Competitive Floor

What do you think about a competitive floor?  This is one of the potentially most heated debates in the building industry.  I personally am totally in favor of a competitive floor.  My rule was “Whomever writes it, Gets it!”  First, it eliminates the need to micro manage.  Second, I would argue that salespeople do a better job with the customer.  They greet, qualify, demonstrate, site, discuss financing and close for the sale.  It increases their sense of urgency.  It motivates them to get a guest registration card filled out correctly and to do their follow-up.  That’s the skinny of my thoughts.  What do you think?
